Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration, adjustment, and repair of measurement equipment.
- Document calibration results, including out-of-tolerance conditions and corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration standards and ensure their traceability to national or international standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in test and measurement equipment.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
- Develop and improve calibration procedures and work instructions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology) or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience performing calibrations on various types of measurement and test equipment within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
- Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration methodologies, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI Z540).
- Proficiency in using calibration software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for managing calibration records and schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for diagnosing and resolving calibration issues.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO/17025 standards and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in using calibration software and data acquisition systems.
- Experience with metrology equipment beyond basic hand tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
- Ability to interpret and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Calibration Technician, military metrology training).
