Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and debug CMM programs for complex parts using various software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and 3D models to create inspection plans.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections using CMM.
• Calibrate and maintain CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize inspection processes and resolve issues.
• Document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain CMM program libraries.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Expertise in programming CMMs using specific software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
• Ability to develop and optimize CMM programs for complex parts.
• Experience with various inspection tools and their application.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) beyond basic model viewing.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex CMM measurement issues independently.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for manufacturing.
• Prior involvement in developing or refining inspection plans and procedures.
