Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug CMM programs for complex parts using various software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and 3D models to create inspection plans.
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections using CMM.
- Calibrate and maintain CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize inspection processes and resolve issues.
- Document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain CMM program libraries.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T.
- Expertise in programming CMMs using specific software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
- Ability to develop and optimize CMM programs for complex parts.
- Experience with various inspection tools and their application.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) beyond basic model viewing.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex CMM measurement issues independently.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for manufacturing.
- Prior involvement in developing or refining inspection plans and procedures.
