Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures.
• Provide EHS training to employees on topics such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and hazardous waste management.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and disposal in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, including permits, training logs, and incident reports.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.
• 3-5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct EHS training, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for EHS metrics.
• Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring and sampling techniques.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and their application to EHS.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another language prevalent in the local workforce.
