Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Traverse City that are seeking skilled Production Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including performance reviews and training.
• Monitor production costs and implement strategies for cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., supply chain, engineering) to optimize processes.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI)
• Bilingual in a relevant language
