Quality Technician | Coopersville, MI
Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Coopersville seeking Quality Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections, documenting findings and ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis for non-conforming products and implement corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection, measuring, and test equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
- Monitor production processes to identify and address potential quality issues proactively.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools (e.g., Cause and Effect diagrams, Pareto charts)
Bonus Qualifications
- ASQ certifications (e.g., CQT, CQI)
- Experience with calibration of measurement tools
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
