Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mattawan that are seeking skilled Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
• Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including control plans and FMEAs.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other quality methodologies.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for reviewing designs and tolerances.
• Experience with ERP systems for quality data management.
