Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
• Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including control plans and FMEAs.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using SolidWorks or other CAD software for design review and analysis.
• Experience with metrology equipment and calibration processes.
