Quality Technician | Wayland, MI

Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Wayland region seeking Quality Technicians. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product quality inspections.
• Calibrate and maintain quality control measuring equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Perform first article inspections for new products or processes.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Proficient in using metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and root cause analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting
