Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Wayland that are seeking skilled Recruiters. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for various manufacturing roles, from entry-level to leadership.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including offer negotiation and pre-employment processes.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and recruitment activities.
• Participate in career fairs and other recruiting events to promote the company as an employer of choice.
• Advise on market trends and provide competitive intelligence to optimize recruitment efforts.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, specifically within manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to source and attract passive candidates for specialized technical and operational roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and typical organizational structures.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards).
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume requisitions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ATS beyond basic data entry; able to optimize workflows and generate custom reports.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in various production environments.
• Ability to conduct basic compensation analysis for a range of manufacturing roles, from entry-level to specialized technicians.
• Prior experience working with or in a unionized manufacturing environment.
