Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kalamazoo that are seeking Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers based on specifications and pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to understand project requirements.
• Utilize ERP and CRM systems to manage quote pipeline and track progress.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure profitable orders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, manufacturing processes, and market pricing.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quoting efficiency and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a high attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle).
• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes and terminology.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a manufacturing environment.
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or similar).
