Salary Range: $92,000 - $139,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled Six Sigma Black Belts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex Six Sigma projects from conception to completion, delivering significant financial savings and process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify root causes of manufacturing defects, inefficiencies, and waste.
• Develop and implement statistical process controls and other quality assurance measures to sustain improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact projects aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) to analyze data and drive data-driven decisions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a minimum of 3 years experience leading complex improvement projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data-driven problem-solving.
• Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings, efficiency gains, or quality improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Lean principles and tools.
• Experience mentoring and coaching Green Belts and project teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Master Black Belt certification
• Experience with Minitab or other statistical software beyond basic usage
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior continuous improvement professionals
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience in a manufacturing setting
