Salary Range: $43,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Setup Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble manufacturing equipment according to blueprints and safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
• Transport and position heavy machinery using forklifts and other lifting devices.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve setup processes and efficiency.
• Document equipment status, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during equipment setup and operation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing setup or machine operation role
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Basic understanding of PLC controls and automation systems
