Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in DeWitt that are seeking Robotics Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in industrial robots.
• Install and configure new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal robot performance and longevity.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot programming and cell layout for efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI configuration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with a variety of robot brands beyond the primary ones used (e.g., Epson, Yamaha, KUKA).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming for troubleshooting and minor modifications.
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their safety considerations.
