Salary Range: $51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Train, mentor, and supervise shipping and receiving associates to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics departments to optimize material flow and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in shipping and receiving.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of up to 5 associates
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS)
• Forklift certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating various material handling equipment
• Experience with shipping documentation, including BOLs, customs forms, and international shipping regulations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks associated with the role

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Forklift operator certification (reach truck, counterbalance).
• Proficiency with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to train and mentor junior shipping/receiving personnel.
