Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and testing of new and modified tooling.
- Conduct root cause analysis for tooling failures and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, design, and quality teams to define tooling requirements and specifications.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and repair schedules for all production tooling.
- Evaluate new tooling technologies and materials to improve manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all tooling adheres to safety standards, quality specifications, and production schedules.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in the design, build, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production tooling (e.g., injection molds, stamping dies, fixtures).
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) and G-code programming.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, material science, and heat treatment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for tooling issues.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies related to tooling.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Moldflow, FEA).
- Proficiency in a programming language for automation or data analysis (e.g., Python, VBA).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing processes for tooling applications.
