Salary Range: $79,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the IATF 16949 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues using 8D methodology.
• Develop, implement, and maintain APQP documentation including Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Manage customer quality concerns, coordinate PPAP submissions, and ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
• Conduct internal product, process, and system audits to IATF 16949 standards and support external audits.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Support supplier quality activities including SCARs, PPAP reviews, and supplier development.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards.
• Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Proven ability to lead and apply structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Experience conducting internal and supplier quality system audits.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control within the automotive industry.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• VDA 6.3 Process Auditor certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and implementation
