Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily fabrication operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Ensure all fabricated parts and assemblies consistently meet quality standards and specifications.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabricators, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Coordinate production schedules, material flow, and resource allocation within the fabrication area.
• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure workplace.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with engineering and other departments to optimize fabrication processes and designs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in various fabrication processes (e.g., welding, machining, forming, cutting).
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise a fabrication team in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong commitment to quality control standards and workplace safety protocols.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills for complex fabrication challenges and process optimization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam)
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., CWI, specific material types)
