Salary Range: $54,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills using CAM software to generate G-code.
• Develop and optimize machining processes and cutting strategies.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for various materials.
• Perform post-processing and simulation of NC programs to verify accuracy and prevent collisions.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine programs.
• Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and tooling lists for production.
• Ensure programs adhere to quality standards, blueprints, and safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for 3-axis and multi-axis milling.
• Strong ability to write, edit, and optimize G-code and M-code programs.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, including GD&T.
• Solid understanding of cutting tool selection, feed/speed calculations, and material properties.
• Proven experience in programming and setting up CNC milling machines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills.
• Proficiency in CAD design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Familiarity with advanced G-code simulation software (e.g., Vericut).
• Experience with fixture design and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of post-processor customization.
