Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions for new product introductions.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (e.g., 8D methodology) for internal and external quality issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing methodologies.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other statistical techniques for process monitoring, analysis, and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, supply chain) to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct internal and external quality system audits (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001) to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and report on quality performance.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in core quality methodologies and tools, including FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and advanced Root Cause Analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and auditing Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making for process improvement.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, with a proven track record of leading continuous improvement projects and achieving measurable results.
Bonus Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
- Experience with industry-specific quality standards such as IATF 16949, AS9100, or FDA 21 CFR Part 820
- Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Direct experience in supplier quality development, auditing, and management
