Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program advanced CNC machinery for complex part fabrication.
• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance and training.
• Oversee daily production schedules and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Perform quality inspections of finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, equipment malfunctions, and process inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve part design.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a machinist, with significant CNC programming and operation expertise.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of machinists, including task delegation and workflow management.
• Expertise in G-code programming, CAM software, blueprint interpretation, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for machining processes, tooling, and quality issues.
• In-depth knowledge of various materials, cutting tools, and optimal machining parameters.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced G-code programming and optimization skills.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for model creation and toolpath generation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior machinists.
