Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, SMED, VSM).
  • Identify and eliminate waste in manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize standardized work procedures and visual management systems.
  • Train and mentor production teams on Lean principles and problem-solving techniques.
  • Analyze process data and performance metrics to identify root causes of inefficiencies and track improvements.
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping exercises to identify bottlenecks and optimize material and information flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Lean culture and sustain improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles and tools in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, and Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques (e.g., A3, 8D, DMAIC).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects and cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
  • Demonstrated experience in Change Management methodologies
  • Advanced data analysis skills using statistical software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python)
