Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage and train shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies, and process returns or claims as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory movements in the WMS/ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving work environment.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels within the receiving and staging areas.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to shipping and receiving.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and shipping software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience leading or supervising a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• - Forklift certification and experience operating various types of forklifts.
• - Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs documentation.
• - Basic understanding of inventory management software beyond basic data entry.
• - Proven ability to train and mentor junior team members.
