Reliability Engineer | Allegan, MI
Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize asset uptime.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for chronic and critical equipment failures.
- Facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies to define optimal maintenance tasks and frequencies.
- Analyze equipment performance data, OEE, and maintenance KPIs to identify reliability improvement opportunities.
- Implement and manage condition monitoring programs using predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability principles into asset design, procurement, and operational practices.
- Develop and implement asset criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance efforts and resource allocation.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or asset management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with reliability tools and methodologies (e.g., RCA, FMEA, RCM, Weibull analysis, defect elimination).
- Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS/EAM) and data analysis for identifying asset performance issues.
- Working knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) and their application.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analysis and automation.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience implementing or working with AI/Machine Learning models for predictive maintenance.
