Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate various types of manufacturing presses.
• Load raw materials and remove finished products from the press.
• Monitor machine operation and inspect parts for quality, making adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting on press equipment.
• Document production data, quality checks, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating and setting up industrial presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in performing tooling changes, adjustments, and basic machine maintenance.
• Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment
• Experience with advanced quality inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs)
• Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills for production equipment
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen)
