Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts, ensuring proper tool changes.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and maintain a clean work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine maintenance.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).
• Experience with CMMs or other advanced metrology/inspection equipment.
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
