Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and technical specifications.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot andolve machining problems, adjusting offsets and programming as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and maintain a clean work area.
• Monitor machine operations, detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Select and replace appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) for quality inspection.
• Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and basic troubleshooting of machine operations.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and various material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
