Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, dies, and fixtures for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and tooling to ensure operational readiness.
• Document setup parameters, machine adjustments, and any encountered issues or resolutions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in machine setup, changeover, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical and operational issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software or advanced blueprint reading.
• Tool & Die making or precision machining experience.
