Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on robotic systems and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in industrial robots.
  • Execute repairs, component replacements, and adjustments to restore robot functionality and performance.
  • Modify, update, and teach robot programs for new tasks, process improvements, or error correction.
  • Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new robotic work cells and automation lines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards for all robotic equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience programming, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
  • Strong understanding of PLC logic, HMI systems, and industrial control components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with robotic vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
  • Proficiency with offline programming or simulation software.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
  • Basic CAD software proficiency for reviewing cell layouts or fixture designs.
