Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on robotic systems and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
• Conduct repairs and replace faulty components to restore robot functionality.
• Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new robotic systems and end-effectors.
• Optimize robot programming for improved cycle times, precision, and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
• Ensure all robotic operations comply with safety standards and company protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in programming, teaching, and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• Experience with PLC programming and integration in automated manufacturing systems.
• Proven ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on robotic systems to minimize downtime.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).
• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with CAD software for reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Certification or advanced training in a major robot brand (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
