Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Hart that are seeking Cost Accountants. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard product costs.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability.
• Conduct inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Prepare cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis and reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Assist in the development of new product costing and pricing.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems
• CMA or CPA certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA
