Salary Range: $51,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor EDM machinery to produce precision components.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of EDM equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Load and unload workpieces, ensuring proper alignment and fixturing.
• Conduct quality checks on finished parts using various measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues with EDM machines.
• Document production data, including run times, material usage, and quality control.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Experience with CNC programming and machine setup

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with laser etching or marking equipment.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Basic understanding of CAD software for file manipulation.
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
