Salary Range: $122,000 - $171,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and providing actionable insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• CPA certification highly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a finance team

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced Excel modeling and data analysis skills
• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment
