Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grandville seeking Buyers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Analyze market trends and evaluate new suppliers to ensure a robust supply chain.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast material needs and support new product development.
• Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, and invoicing in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a purchasing or buyer role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and achieve cost savings.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and inventory management principles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
• Project management experience
