Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Montague that are seeking skilled Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled calibrations and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instrumentation and control systems.
- Document calibration results and maintain accurate records in the calibration management system.
- Develop and revise calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Analyze calibration data and identify trends to improve equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry standards and internal quality procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, instrumentation).
- 2+ years of experience performing calibrations in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using and troubleshooting various test and measurement equipment (e.g., DMMs, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators, temperature baths).
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI Z540).
- Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated calibration systems.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
- Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments to test equipment.
- Proficiency in using statistical process control (SPC) software for data analysis.
