Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
- Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate reports.
- Adhere to established calibration procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve calibration-related issues.
- Develop and implement calibration procedures for new equipment and processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology) or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience performing calibration, maintenance, or repair of test and measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various types of instrumentation.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with calibration management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with various types of measurement equipment beyond standard tools (e.g., optical comparators, CMMs, surface profilometers).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair minor equipment malfunctions or calibration issues.
- Familiarity with calibration software platforms (e.g., Beamex, Fluke Met/Cal) and data management.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or other relevant industry certifications.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and traceability.
