Salary Range: $58,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for Lathe machines using CAD/CAM software.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining processes.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feed rates for optimal performance.
• Perform test runs and make adjustments to programs to ensure part quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain and update a library of CNC programs and related documentation.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for programming and machining operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software beyond basic part modeling, such as SolidWorks CAM or Fusion 360.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with different control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak).
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code editing and optimization at the machine.
