Salary Range: $55,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for various materials.
- Perform simulations and make programming adjustments to optimize tool paths and cycle times.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and improve processes.
- Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and work instructions.
- Inspect first-off parts and make necessary program modifications to ensure quality.
- Stay updated on new programming techniques and software advancements.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for generating toolpaths.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Experience with tooling selection, fixture design, and workholding strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize machining processes for efficiency and part quality.
