Salary Range: $55,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for various materials.
• Perform simulations and make programming adjustments to optimize tool paths and cycle times.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and work instructions.
• Inspect first-off parts and make necessary program modifications to ensure quality.
• Stay updated on new programming techniques and software advancements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for generating toolpaths.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Experience with tooling selection, fixture design, and workholding strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize machining processes for efficiency and part quality.
