Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications for manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues in production environments.
• Optimize application performance and efficiency for manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage.
• Document software designs, test plans, and user manuals.
• Implement and maintain software version control and release management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support, preferably within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer-facing interactions.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, HMIs)
• Knowledge of data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python)
• Understanding of manufacturing process simulation software
• Experience with vision systems or robotics
