Salary Range: $87,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for complex quality issues.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement activities through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated into new product development and process changes.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and work with suppliers to improve incoming material quality.
• Mentor and train junior quality engineers and manufacturing personnel on quality best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and various quality methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and utilizing metrology equipment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Project management experience, particularly in leading quality improvement initiatives.
