Salary Range: $86,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mason seeking Advanced Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection methodologies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for complex quality issues using statistical tools.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is integrated into new product development.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and manage supplier performance to meet quality standards.
• Mentor and train junior quality engineers on advanced quality techniques and problem-solving.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma).
• Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality assurance tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Experience with AI-powered quality tools
• Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 principles
• Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
