Salary Range: $74,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Whitehall that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and tests electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery and control systems.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Develops and maintains electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Implements and optimizes PLC programming and HMI interfaces for automated manufacturing lines.
  • Participates in the selection, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment and instrumentation.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic design and panel layouts.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems, including programming and configuration.
  • Experience with motor control, VFDs, and power distribution systems up to 480V.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 79) and best practices in electrical engineering.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with robotics or automated systems.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
