Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis for automation-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in automation design and implementation.
• Provide training and technical support to production and maintenance teams on automation systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMIs.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies, vision systems, and motion control.
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automation solutions for production lines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality control and part inspection.
• Familiarity with data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., Ignition SCADA, Python, R) for process optimization.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and human-robot interaction in manufacturing environments.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000) beyond basic ladder logic.
