Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Programs and configures PLCs, HMIs, robots, and other automation equipment.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with existing automation systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation for automation systems, including schematics and user manuals.
• Conducts testing and validation of new automation solutions to ensure performance and reliability.
• Stays current with emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or robotics within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
• Experience with vision systems, robotics (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB), and motion control.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems and historian software (e.g., Ignition, FactoryTalk Historian).
• Familiarity with ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards for manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data collection and analytics.
• Certifications in relevant automation technologies (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
