Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) for all manufactured products.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to align MPS with customer demand and plant capacity.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust the MPS to optimize inventory turns while ensuring product availability.
- Analyze production performance and identify areas for improvement in scheduling processes.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate, update, and manage the MPS.
- Lead weekly scheduling meetings to review production plans and address potential bottlenecks.
- Forecast future production requirements based on sales forecasts and historical data.
- Manage exceptions and adjust the MPS in response to unplanned events such as material shortages or equipment breakdowns.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems, particularly in module configuration and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize complex production schedules, balancing capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and their application to scheduling processes.
Bonus Qualifications
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis RapidResponse)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Project management experience, particularly with system implementations or process improvements
