Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Master Schedulers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and procurement to ensure alignment of the master schedule with business objectives.
• Analyze production capacity and resource availability to optimize scheduling and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust the master schedule to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning tools to generate and manage the master schedule.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to review schedule performance, address issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Forecast future demand and production requirements to inform long-term strategic planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling processes and systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or master scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
