Salary Range: $63,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Cadillac that are seeking skilled PLC Programmers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and test PLC logic for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues, including hardware and software.
• Design and implement HMI applications for operator interface and process visualization.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to existing PLC programs and control systems.
• Document PLC programs, electrical schematics, and control system configurations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems and interpret electrical schematics.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA and HMI systems beyond basic control panels.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and their application in industrial automation.
• Experience with robotic integration and programming.
• Ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting and read schematics.
