Salary Range: $74,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of process failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
  • Implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve process performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products and processes into manufacturing.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all process designs and operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies (Green Belt or higher certification preferred)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python) for statistical process control and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA) in a manufacturing environment
  • Project management experience, particularly in leading process improvement or capital expenditure projects
  • Understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
