The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Press Operator / Setups who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing press machines.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures for various production runs.
• Conduct quality checks and make adjustments to ensure product specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and production issues.
• Load and unload materials and finished products from the press.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven ability to set up, adjust, and operate various printing presses (e.g., flexographic, offset).
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting job specifications, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a history of performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting press issues.
• Experience with quality control procedures, including inspecting printed materials for defects and ensuring color accuracy.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and machine interface.
• Demonstrated ability to perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., lubrication, cleaning).
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
• Prior experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
