Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Train and mentor finishing personnel on equipment operation and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols within the finishing department.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions for non-conformance.
• Optimize workflow and equipment utilization to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on finishing activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth material flow and production handoffs.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing processes (e.g., painting, polishing, assembly).
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and lean manufacturing principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with automated finishing equipment
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling software
