Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to define and optimize new product introduction processes.
• Develop and implement manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions and control plans.
• Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks for new products.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for NPI related issues.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and assembly considerations are met.
• Optimize manufacturing layouts and material flow for new product lines.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of PCBA design, manufacturing processes, and test methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, PADS) for schematic capture and PCB layout review.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and engineering change processes.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive root cause analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation.
• Background in a specific manufacturing process relevant to the company's products (e.g., machining, electronics assembly, injection molding).
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
